Chicago, Illinois, over some bookseller stalls and the Printers Row Lit Fest is the venerable landmark Dearborn Street Station Tower. The historic railroad depot (also known as Dearborn Station and Polk Street Station), opened in 1885 is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The annual Printers Row Lit Fest (formerly Printers Row Book Fair). The large street festival featuring old and used books in vendor stalls has become a highly popular Chicago fixture. The festival is held among the hirtorical buildings that formed the Printers Row area of the Deraborn Station at the foot of Dearborn Street on which the festival is held. The Printers Row neighborhood derives its name from when the buildings in the area served to house printing and publishing businesses. A fitting locale for the festival.
