Great White Egrets Fishing with Juveniles and a few seasonal changes s

The man dam at White Rock Lake is a long dam with a massive spillway in steps flowing into a tidal pool below. From the tidal pool, there is a lesser spillway that steps down into the creek below that continues it flow into the Trinity river through south east Dallas. The Trinity flows several hundred miles toward Houston where it flows into the Gulf of Mexico. The area is a bird watching paradise the all year long begin on a major migratory route from north of the Canadian border to the Mexican border. Along that route also is the migratory path of the Monarch Butterflies that winter in the mountains of Mexico before starting their three generation voyage north again in the spring. All-in-mall, White Rock is squarely in the middle of all the traffic. The United States Geological Survey maintains high-tech satellite reporting stations throughout the US. One of those stations that measures water discharge rates and levels is also at White Rock Lake. The solar powered unit with its radio satellite antenna is also shown. We have the radar unit available as stock if anyone would also need that image. We are happy to bring nature a bit closer to you and strive to keep it updated as best we can.
