Fieldfare protecting a hoard of windfall apples. Although normally found in flocks, birds can break off on their own, as this one has and form a one bird food barrier to anything of a similar size - especially Blackbirds which have a similar diet. Blue Tits, Great Tits, Robins etc. seem to be left alone.
