In making this test, four 13-foot, emergency flood boats, built of marine plywood, were loaded aboard a Coast Guard Curtis commando (C-46) at St. Louis Mo.; flown to Louisville, Kentucky and "Flipped" into the Ohio River ready for service in less than two hours!.
