Ranganayaka, also known as Rangantha

Ranganayaka, also known as Rangantha, reclines on the coils of the five-hooded serpent Shesha. His right arm is bent near his head, his left arm lies at his side and his feet rest on a lotus. Brahmā sits on a lotus flower which floats in mid-air above Ranganayaka’s left hand. Brahmā carries in his upper right hand the kamandalu (water vessel), in his upper left the pustaka (book); his lower right hand is in abhaya and the lower left in varada mudra. Vibhishana stands at Ranganayaka’s feet, a gada (mace) resting on his left shoulder, and with his right hand he throws flowers towards the reclining deity.
