Leaves exstipulate, alternate, often 2 or 3 together and unequal in size, ovate-lanceolate, tapering at the apex, narrowed into winged petioles at the base, entire or slightly repand, minutely ciliate at the mare^ins, scattered with appressed jointed hairs on the upper surface, less hairy on the under surface, minutely ï¼ scaly under the lens on both surfaces; large leaves 5 inches long, 2 inches broadï¼ I ordinary ones 2â3 inches long, Iâ\\ inches broadï¼ petioles usually 3ä¸4 lines long, long ones about I inch long. Flowers about \ inch across, solitary or 2â3 together, axillary, nodding, on slender pedicels of \ââ|inch. Calyx crated form, broadly 5-toothed, minutely pubescent, ciliate at the rim. Corolla.
