Lay the paper fiat on the slate or board and, with a large brush or a small piece of old, clean cotton, put a wash of water lightly and rapidlyover the wrong side of the paper. Turn the paper over and wet the rightside in the same manner, or dip the paper in water, wetting itthoroughly.
