A helicopter from Marino Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HH)-462, known as "Big Stretch", tests a special towing device developed by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. The device is being evaluated by Marines in Vietnam for tasks like pulling disabled tanks from challenging terrain. HNH-462 is the first Marine helicopter unit to trial this mechanism in combat conditions, with a trial conducted at Phu Bai airstrip involving towing a 20,000-pound load.
