Caulin, 9 km west of the ferry terminal at Chacao, is famous for its oysters and seabird sanctuary. Oysters can be sampled at the fine Ostras Caulin Restaurant, reputedly the best in the hamlet. Here we see live food oysters kept in an artificial tank under a canopy shade.
