This was the first close up photograph of a Scottish Wildcat, taken in the wild using an infra red beam. It took three nights with the camera in situ.

This was a genuine wild living Scottish Wildcat caught by an Infra red beam camera trap but they are now so rare as to be effectively extinct in the wild. Therefore this pure looking Wildcat may be the last photograph before they died out by genetic dilution and illegal shooting, gassing and trapping. A very rare photograph indeed.
