A mother bird teaches her offspring how to hunt. SPECTACULAR action shots of two White-tailed Kites learning to hunt with their mum have been captured. These breath-taking images show the birds gracefully gliding through the air as their mother trains them. Another shot shows the moment when mum passes the young birds a vole for dinner – all within seconds. The stunning pictures were taken by Thinh Bui (58), an engineer from Fremont, USA whilst visiting the Rancho San Antonio Preserve in Cupertino, California. The shots were captured as the birds hovered more than 80-feet off the ground.
