A pair of percussion pistols, Lupotti, Turin, circa 1830. Octagonal and rifled Damascus barrels in 14 mm calibre with patent breechblocks. Silver scroll work on the chambers and muzzles of each as well as the inscription: "Canon a Ruban" (twist barrel). Back action locks with floral engraving. Single set triggers. Cocks chiselled in the shape of lion heads. The lock plates signed, "Lupotti a Turin." Walnut stocks with floral carving and fine silver wire inlays. Engraved iron furniture.
