A newly milled T-38 aileron lever is compared to the original block of aluminum. The end pieces are eventually removed in the five-step manufacturing process. The New Manufacturing and Repair Division of the 532nd Commodities Maintenance Squadron milled more than 1,000 levers for the Air Force's fleet of T-38s.
