15/05/2022 Gravesend UK A tall ship with royal patronage visited Gravesend Town Pier this morning. The Spirit of Falmouth is a a replica of a Gaff Schooner used by River Mersey pilots and was built in Liverpool in 1985 using traditional timber shipbuilding techniques. In 2014 the tall ship was gifted to HRH Prince of Wales’s charity The Prince’s Trust. The schooner has a length of and a crew of 6 and cabins for uptown 12 guests.
