A mass of ice on Worthington Glacier Chugach Mountains near Valdez Prince William Sound Alaska USA
A mass of ice at the lower end of Worthington Glacier, in the Chugach Mountains, about 70 miles from Valdez. The glacier lies just beside the Valdez-Anchorage road. The blue colour to the ice is due to the lack of air in the ice, squeezed out by the huge pressures.
