Members from the 512th and 436th airlift wings clear M16 rifles at the end of their shift during the Liberty Eagle Readiness Exercise at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, July 13, 2022. Members from both wings participated in a simulated deployment to a forward operating base, located on Dover AFB, July 11-15, 2022. The purpose of this exercise was to validate the 512th and 436th airlift wings' ability to generate, employ and sustain airpower across the world in a contested and degraded operational environment.
