Fishing boat Gefira Greece
The island fortress of Monemvassia also known as the Gibralter of Greece provides a background for this small fishing boat in the neighboring town of Gefyra. Monemvasia, though inhabited today by several hundred people, was formerly a great Byzantine city. The island has many ruins, some from the old Kastro are visible in this photograph on the top of the island.
