The Hampton Roads Naval Museum hosted a promotion ceremony aboard the USS Wisconsin (BB-64) this afternoon. LCDR Joshua Zelfer from the Fleet Forces Command (USFLTFORCOM) was promoted this afternoon to Commander. Members of his command and his family were present during the ceremony in front of the iconic turret #1 aboard the USS Wisconsin. The ship is a popular venue for military ceremonies for area commands free of charge.
