Although its squad has usuallyhad poor starts, a fast enough team was developed each year to overcomeopposition and take off the honors in the last games and the series. The classhas always supported its representatives, and the combination of spirit andplaying has been effective. It is noteworthy that there are eleven men graduating this year who haveplayed on the class team at one time or another. These are Secor, Bittner,Cunningham, Booth, Murphy, Pringle, Doing, Conroe, Swanson, Frazier andBender Pollock, Mansfield and MacGowan have also played on the five. Thecompetition for places has always been very strong, Secor being the only manwho has played the four seasons.
