It is all smiles for an Airman after successfully completing a bag lift exercise at Barksdale Air Force Base, La, Feb. 16, 2017. More than 30 active-duty and reserve Airman, including several from the 307th Bomb Wing, 2nd Bomb Wing and Air Force Global Strike Command, worked together to perform the successful lift. The exercise simulates how an intact jet that has lost landing gear can be recovered. It is the first such exercise attempted with a B-52 in more than 30 years.
