Concrete Plant Park along the Bronx River in the New York borough of the Bronx is seen on Sunday, October 24, park is built on the remains of the the Transit Mix Concrete Corporation where concrete was manufactured from 1945 until 1987. The existing hoppers and silos were saved as park features highlighting industrial archeology. Concrete Plant Park is a popular kayak and canoe launch spot as well as being part of the Bronx River Greenway. (© Richard B. Levine).
