A Colombian tumbaga gold figure, Elaborately worked, hollow cast figure of gold/copper alloy. Portrayal of a deity with a crocodile head, holding in his hands a small crocodile. Height 15 cm, weight 205 g. Tumbaga alloy with its central components of gold and copper was prevalent in ancient Colombia and the neighbouring Central America. The copper contents can exceed more than 70%.
