The rhinos cut a powerful figure in this landscape NYERI, KENYA STRIKING IMAGES of rhinoceros? playing together as a thunderstorm gather above have been captured. Images show the imposing rhinos striking majestic figures as they move through the open plains and a calf even instigates a game of chasing. These images were captured by office worker Nadine Villabruna (29) from St Gallen, Switzerland. Nadine captured the images in Nyeri, Kenya on her Canon EOS R6 and a Canon EOS R7 camera with a 24mm and 105mm lens to capture these images. At times the 700kg giants were close enough to Nadine to sniff her camera, an adrenaline inducing encounter for sure. The majesty of the images were not lost on Nadine and she is very proud of her powerful work. ?We were on an exciting game drive when we noticed dramatic clouds in the sky. Eager to find animals against this breathtaking backdrop, we discovered a group of playful rhinos,? said Nadine. ?Positioning ourselves in a hole, we patiently awaited their approach. Five curious rhinos came closer, and it was an intimate moment as we sat there, hearing their peaceful grazing. ?Capturing their majestic presence against the extraordinary clouds was the best moment I've ever experienced. ?What I love about shots like this is the combination of dramatic skies and stunning wildlife. Each photograph tells a story and preserves the moments behind the scenes. ?Using a wide-angle lens adds to my enjoyment of capturing these scenes. It allows me to showcase not only the animals but also their surroundings. ?Through these wide-angle shots, I aim to transport viewers to that very moment, evoking the same sense of awe and wonder I experienced. ?Ultimately, what I value most is the ability to capture the essence of the entire scene, not just a single subject.
