A silver goblet, German (Augsburg?), circa 1650 Gilded silver. Base, cup, and lid with embossed decorative humps. Lid has an oval knob on top. The stem and base of the knob have filigreed, leaf shaped decoration. The gilding is worn. A place on the stem has a soft solder repair. The lid and cup have slightly misstamped city and master's marks, presumably Augsburg, Master Hans Peters (d. 1672).
