The American School in London is based in St. John’s Wood. As a result, a lot of American families live in the area and, over recent years, a few of the streets there have become the destination of choice on Halloween for people from all over London. It even used to get recommended in Time Out. From just before dark, no traffic can possibly pass along those streets. They’re completely full of families parading up and down in their masks and costumes and trick-or-treating all the houses
