London, UK. 9th June 2013. To mark the 150th anniversary of the London Underground work by 15 leading contemporary artists has gone on show. Artists from the UK, USA, Bulgaria, Poland, Germany and South Korea were invited each to create a new image that is available as a poster or limited edition print from Transport for London. Well-known artists include Sarah Lucas, Gillian Wearing and Wolfgang Tillmans. The art is also now on show at Gloucester Road, St James's Park and Southwark stations.
