Taken from a beach near Rostock, a town in northern Germany. The view is of a man swimming in the North Sea. He is swimming 'breast stroke'. A swimming stroke is a repeated human action or body movement designed to move a persons body through a body of water and keep him or her afloat. Breast stroke is the oldest and slowest swimming stroke style. It is very popular and commonly used because the head can be kept above water for long periods of time as the torso does not rotate and remains flat in the water. The North sea is a relatively small sea next to the Atlantic Ocean. It can be found between Great Britain, Scandinavia Germany, Belgium, France and Scandinavia. Germany is a country situated in central Europe and is considered to be one of the leading powers in the European union. Historically, Germany has always been a leader in both technical and cultural terms. Germany, as it exists today is a relatively new country formed in 1871. Before that Germany only existed as a group of Germanic tribes and was concurred and occupied by both the Romans and France. Germany has one of the worlds largest economies and is a federal parliamentary republic. Germany has the Euro for it's currency and is one of the pivotal powers in the European Union. along with France and the United Kingdom.
