St Genevieve of Brabant, 19th century. The medieval legend of Genevieve of Brabant tells how she was wrongly accused by her husband, the palatine Siegfried, of adultery and exiled into the forest. Five years later Siegfried, out hunting, recognised her and acknowledged her innocence.
