From the dwarf species, a few inches in height, to the lofty Tree Fern,with a trunk 12 to 15 feet high, and with broad fronds extending nearly the same distance horizontally, they are alike beautiful. Many species are especially suitable for cultivation in jardinieres or window-boxes, either by themselves or with flower- ing plants. Many varieties are cultivated extensively for cutting, and nothing else mingles so nicely with Koses as Fern Fronds. For this purpose the Adiantums are very suitable. Adiantum Bellum.
