CT Prostate Cancer
This axial (cross sectional) CT image through the lower chest in a person with prostate cancer shows the typical appearance of a blastic (sclerotic) metastasis to bone from their prostate is seen as a round area of increased density (green) in the spine. Prostate cancer very typically results in blastic (or sclerotic) metastatic lesions to bone. These appear as very dense, white lesions in the bone.
