Kerman, Museum Of The Holy Defence, Wax Soldier Inside Iraqi War Bunker

Kerman Province (Ostān-e Kermān) is located in the southeast of Iran. It is the second largest province of the country with an area of 180,726 km² (11% of the territory). It only has a population of 3 million people, mostly Shi'a Muslims, less than 60% of which live in urban areas. Most of the province is steppe or sandy desert, although there are some oases where dates, oranges (said to be the best in Iran), and pistachios are cultivated. The province is dependent on qanats (underground water channels) for its irrigation. The Museum Of The Holy Defence focuses on the Iran & Iraq war just after the Islamic Revolution. The sign says: Ya Hassan Mojtaba: Hello to Imam Hussain, the third imam. People believe that when they say hello to one of the 12 imams, it helps them sort out their problems.
