This Gull is found on the west coasts of England andScotland and is of much less frequent occurrence in thesouth and east, although occasionally seen there in thewinter. It is about the same size as the Black-headed TiiK Lesser Black-backed Gull. The nest is placed in all kinds of places and contains, asa rule, three eggs, which vary a good deal in appearance :they are usually laid in June.
