A 1960's advertisement for free cooking classes delivered by the Sydney County Council or SCC. The SCC was the state government retail electricity supplier of the day for much of Sydney and promoted cooking and living with electricity with slogans like "Live Better Electrically". As well as supplying electricity itself they also retailed home appliances and cooking classes helped support sales.
