The community was started by a female truck driver Tia Nieva who in the 70 s with a message from spirits from other worlds felt compelled to build construct and complete a temple lakes shrines and most importantly an entire doctrine on 22 hectares of dusty ground in the middle of Brazil The sect if we can call it such practices a complex syncretism with elements of Christianity Spiritism mysticism Afro Brazilian religions belief in flying saucers and ancient Egyptian beliefs
