Downed trees litter a yard at a home near the Sunshine Acres Mobile Home Park in Adel, Georgia, where a violent tornado leveled half of the 40 homes, claiming seven lives in the early morning hours of January 22, 2017. The victims ranged in age from 18 to 62. The storm was part of a weather system that spawned dozens of tornadoes across the South over the weekend, killing 20 people.
