CENDERAWASIH BAY, WEST PAPUA: IF YOU think your job is hard imagine competing for a catch of the day with the world’s largest fish. The sheer scale of this whale shark can be seen in direct comparison with the one hundred and eight foot long sailing boat as shown in these jaw dropping pictures. Multiple whale sharks are seen swimming up to, underneath and around the fishing boat to try and get some freebies from their fishermen friends. Australian photographer Scott Portelli (43) travelled to thirty-two feet off Cenderawasih Bay, West Papua to capture the giant fish in action.
