Movers transfer mannequins slated for Parsons' famed School of Fashion into the new University Center building
Movers from Globe Moving and Storage transfer mannequins slated for Parsons' famed School of Fashion into the new University Center building of the New School for Social Research in Greenwich Village in New York on Friday, December 27, 2013. The 16-story, multi-purpose building houses state-of-the-art classrooms, a convertible auditorium and seven floors dormitories. The 375,000 square foot building opens in January 2014 and was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The building will house students from the Eugene Lang College, the New School for Public Engagement, Mannes College as well as Parsons and the New School for Social Research. (© Richard B. Levine)
