La Fontaine de Tourny, Bordeaux, France, 1890


Bordeaux is a port city on the Garonne River in southwest France. It is the capital of the Aquitaine region, as well as the prefecture of the Gironde department. Its inhabitants are called Bordelais. La Fontaine de Tourny in the center, which was awarded the gold medal at the Paris Exposition of 1855. (now located in Canada Quebec). The fountain and another like it stood at both ends of Les Allees de Tourny in Bordeaux, France.
