This is because the filmcannot be placed with its lower edgeclose to the teeth. The anode is placedat an average distance of ten inches fromthe teeth and the time of exposure isabout seven seconds. Unless the angle of incidence of the rayis carefully calculated, there is apt to beeither a foreshortening or an elongationof the Position for upper right molar region.
