Excellentbuilding stone is found as well as clay for the making of climate, like that of the rest of the Territory, is a specificfor lung and throat trouble. The surround-ing country is a rolling prairie, broken and intercepted bysmall streams and the Canadian river, which flows throughthe eastern portion. Tucumcari has a population of 1, town is but little over two years old and is making satis-factory growth. Several large new buildings have just beencompleted.
