Excelsior Charter School's Young Marines receive awards for various activities in which they participate as part of their graduation ceremony held at the Maj. Gen. James L. Day Conference Center aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., July 28. The Young Marines resided on base and endured a week of training to include tackling the obstacle course, swim training, conditioning hikes and more all in an effort to give them a taste of Marine Corps life.
