The STS-122 mission was due to launch on 6th December 2007, but a faulty engine cutoff sensor meant that it was postponed until 7th February 2008. Mission STS-122 was to install the European Space Agency's Columbus laboratory, which hosts experiments on weightlessness and its effects, onto the International Space Station (ISS).
