Leading a group of athletes, elite runner Emma Polley of Seattle, Washington negotiated the turn from State Street onto Jackson Boulevard just past the two mile mark of 2016 Chicago Marathon. Polley finished with a time of 2:40:56 and established a new personal best marathon time. She placed 16th among Chicago Marathon is one of the world's five major marathon events annually joining the Boston, London, Berlin and New York major events.
