The growth weighed (in the preserved state) 907grammes, almost equalling the weight of the brain(in the preserved state), which was 915 grammes. The growth measured 17 cm. from before backwards, cm. from side to side, and to cm. from abovedownwards. It lay obliquely across the upper surfaceof the dura of the vertex.
