Tenacity was the first AP1-88-80 Series Hovercraft off the production line, she was built in 1982 / 1983 by Hoverwork Ltd on the Isle of Wight for Hovertravel Ltd. She was the worlds first commercial diesel powered hovercraft and the first of three AP1-88-80 Series Hovercraft built by Hoverwork Ltd for Hovertravel Ltd.
