February, Wednesday 13, 2013 – Dyrehaven (The Hermitage) just north of Copenhagen. Excellent skiing conditions in Denmark this week. In Denmark, definitely the least ski friendly of the Scandinavian countries, these few days offer rare opportunities to go cross-country skiing. The Danish Nature Agency has opened several ski runs all over the country. In Dyrehaven a popular 10km long ski run together with the Copenhagen Ski Club. Sunshine and temperatures around the freezing point, 10-15cm frosty snow, and even the possibility for another skiing trip tomorrow.
