Ventilators in the roof are pro-vided for the motormans cab, and if it isdecided to adopt the panel for the winterservice, additional ventilators may benecessary for supplying the interior of thecar with fresh air. The cars are to bewired for four circuits of lights, the lightsbeing placed along the sides of the sills, which are four in number, aremade of 5-in. i2]/i-\b. standard I-beams,the two outside sills having a wood fillingflush with the inside edge of I-beam andan outside filler, making a width of 6}^ins. The platform is to be supported bytwo intermediate sills, running to theouter edge of the end stick, and twoplatform knees formed of two channels with wood filler run-ning from the end stick
