The owls share a kiss CHANDIGARH, INDIA A SNAP of two barn owls creating the perfect heart have been captured. Images show the barn owls both facing the camera with their heart like face shapes on show and then their bodies cross over each other to create the heart shape. Barn-owls (family Tytonidae) are one of the two families of owls, the other being the true owls or typical owls, Strigidae. They are medium to large owls with large heads and characteristic heart-shaped faces. This picture-perfect capture was taken by photographer Anuj Jain (45) from Chandigarh, India. Anuj captured the images in Chandigarh, India on their Nikon D750+200-500mm. Anuj knows how lucky he is to get these shots and he will unlikely be able to replicate it. ?While casually walking on the road near my house I noticed these owls sitting on the top of a dead tree. I got my camera and took a few shots,? he said. ?Later I realised that this pair are permanent residents of that tree. ?I felt lucky to have spotted this pair. I felt luckier when I was able to capture them and I felt extraordinary when I got a shot where the owls are sitting in a way in which they are forming a heart shape. ?The face of the owl is also in the shape of a heart. ?The pair look super ENDS
