The station was built in 1862. Vingåker station had a station house of a slightly more unusual model. An impressive "crows" with many smoke hoods on the roof. The station house has been modernized for several rounds. The station ceased in 1996 for all traffic. The railway was electrified in 1926. In front of the station in the photo is the post office.
