Ansho-ji - The Gochihen Myotei Garden represents the Five Wisdom Buddhas as shown in the five stones in the center - who hold up five mirrors of wisdom to illuminate all living beings who reside in the Dharma realm. All living beings born from the six elements: earth, water, fire, wind, space and consciousness are depicted in the white sand, stones and trees. The garden design included the planting of moss, was completed by the Anshoji Temple Restoration Group.
